What is Blue Beret Training Academy (B.B.T.A.)?
B.B.T.A. is a registered, charitable, non-alcoholic, drug free, Non-Government Aided                                        Para-Military and Para-Medical, voluntary organization.
B.B.T.A. is an organization of great significance and shall prove beyond any shadow of doubt the    trophy organization of St. Lucia.
It is not about organizations of the past, but all about the presence of B.B.T.A.
NOTE:
The recruits of B.B.T.A. shall be referred to as Pioneers.                                                                                  Individuals pursuing the Standard Officer Course shall be referred to as Officer Cadets (Ocdts)                                            and                                                                                                                                                                                   Officers shall be addressed by their ranks.


BBTA Mission / Vision Statements & Objectives.
(a) As a Charitable, Non-profitable, Non-alcoholic, Drug Free Organization and the only such Organization in St. Lucia, we are dedicated through our Programs to nurture and maximize the ability of the Potential Para-military and Adventurous Training Instructors of the island’s National Uniform Youth Groups. 
(b) Through its training B.B.T.A shall Endeavour to run several Medical Cadre & Para-military Courses including the “Commonwealth Renown” Standard Officer’s Course (S.O.C).
(c) Source O.J.T (On the Job Training) at renown establishments for our Reps.
(d) Provide the public with viewing better / significant parade formats.
(e) Provide the young Cadets and Pioneers with more opportunities to be on Ceremonial Parades.
(f) The world is changing all around us. To continue to thrive as an Education Institution of Higher Learning over the next ten years and beyond, with the advent of our “mission Statements, we must look ahead, understand the trends and forces that will shape our organization in the future and move swiftly to prepare for what’s to come. 
(g) We must get ready for tomorrow today. That’s what our 2020 vision is all about. It creates a long-term destination for the Training of this Organization and provides us with a “Roadmap” for success.
(h) Our “Roadmap” starts with our mission, which is enduring. It declares our purpose as an Organization and serves as a standard against which we weigh our actions and decisions.

The Blue Beret Training Academy shall be complemented with the following Corps or Departments:
(A) A Medical Corps (with its list of doctors, nurses, EMTs and Para-medics this organization shall establish a (Combat Field Hospital) to benefit its members and members of the other    Discipline Services).
(B) Ceremonial Guard Corps. 
(C) Female Corps. 
(D) Training Corps.
(E) Education Corps.                   
(F) The Officer Cadet School (TOCS).
(G) The School of Para-Medical Studies. 
(H) Welfare and Fund Raising Corps. 
(I) Catering Corps.
(J) The Assimilation Corps.
(K) Public Relations Corp.
(L) Reconnaissance & Intelligence Corps.
(M) Sports Corps.

With the wealth of Military, Medical and Paramedical Experiences shared within this organization by its key members, this organization shall take the Training and Competition in the under mentioned (u/m) disciplines to a higher level.

(a) In the area of Military Discipline BBTA shall afford the members of Local organizations the opportunity to participate in such Courses as:

(1) Basic Drill Course.
(2) Drill Sergeant Course.
(3) Drill Instructors Course.
(4) Parade Formats.
(5) Basic Recruit Course (B.R.C.).
(6) Standard Officer Course (S.O.C.).
(7) Assimilations Course.
(8) Among Others.

(b) In the area of Medical Disciplines the courses are:

(1) Medical Cadre 1.
(2) Medical Cadre 11.
(3) Medical Cadre 111 (Combat Medics).
(4) Among Others.
Please be advised that the administration of Blue Beret Training Academy is presently negotiating with agencies locally & abroad to have its courses accredited.  
                                                                              
(c) In the area of Competition there shall be:    
                                                                                                                                                 
(1) 5 k fitness Run.
(2) 10 k fitness Run.
(3) 50 k fitness Walk.
(4) Cricket.
(5) Football.
(6) Among Others.
